Feeling so loved and supported 💛 Couldn’t have done the Walk For Apraxia without these people. We raised over $16,000 and celebrated 39 kids with Childhood Apraxia of Speech. Thank you to everyone who donated, sponsored, volunteered and participated in the walk this year!

So excited to be able to post this! This was the most intense training I’ve ever attended. A lot of work but very worth it. It was amazing to be surrounded by SLPs with the same passion for Childhood Apraxia of Speech and to be taught by some of the leading SLPs in our field (still fangirling a bit)! I learned so much and am beyond grateful to Apraxia Kids for accepting me, teaching me and also for making it one of their goals to train SLPs to appropriately diagnose and treat CAS

It’s officially Apraxia Awareness Month!! Big things happening in Tampa to support our local Apraxia Stars! Mayor Jane Castor approved May 14th as Apraxia Awareness Day for the city of Tampa and the Walk For Apraxia will be held in Tampa again November 8th!! Be sure to wear blue May 14th to show your support for CAS ⭐️

We’ve had amazing sponsors join our walk including a DJ, magician, balloon twister, face painter, temporary tattoo artist, music therapist, and bubble truck! Hi! I’m one of the walk coordinators for the Tampa Walk For Apraxia! Just wanted to share the Tampa walk Facebook event and walk flyer. The walk will be Saturday October 5th from 10-1 at Water Works Park on the riverwalk.

We have a DJ, magician, face painting, balloon twister, glitter tattoo artist, food trucks, music therapist, sensory area and the Bubble Truck Tampa Bay coming! FOAM PARTY anyone?!

This is going to be a fun event to celebrate our local Apraxia Stars and bring more awareness to CAS in the Tampa Bay Area!

Feeling very fortunate to have had the opportunity to attend the ICDL conference in New York City. I’ve officially started my DIRFloortime journey and can’t wait to see how floortime positively impacts my own life, my therapy sessions, and my clients’ lives 💛

I highly recommend taking the DIRFloortime courses for both professionals and parents!

Team Tampa’s first of many Walks for Apraxia! We are so proud of all of our Apraxia Stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We raised $2,500 for at the Sarasota Walk for Apraxia! Hopefully next year we will be hosting our own walk here in Tampa! Thanks to everyone who donated!
