Strength + Flexibility = Mobility
A lot of people think they just need to stretch more to move better.
But better movement quality truly comes from MOBILITY - which is the combination of two things:
Strength + Flexibility.
• Flexibility: your joints and tissues can reach a full range of motion.
• Strength: your body can control and create power.
• Mobility: the ability to actively move through a full range of motion and stabilize/create power through that range.
If you only stretch, you might gain flexibility but have no control.
If you only strengthen, you might be strong but restricted in your movement.
Your body needs both.
That’s why we use mobility drills with strength training - so the body can use its strength through a full range of motion!
