We are a small, BCBA-owned and locally operated business providing quality ABA therapy to all ages across home, school, and community settings in Tampa Bay & surrounding areas. At ABBA, we provide quality individualized ABA therapy in the home, school, & the community serving children and families of all ages in South Tampa, North Tampa, Carrollwood, Lutz, Riverview, Brandon, Lithia, Wimauma, Valrico, St. We currently accept Humana Military, Florida Medicaid, Aetna, New Directions/ Blue Cross Blue Shield/ Florida Blue/ Primera (Amazon), Friday Health Plan, and Cigna/Evernorth/Baycare Cigna insurances. We are a small business with a collaborative group of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA’s) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT’s.) We focus on a team-based approach working with all individuals involved in your child's life (e.g., family, teachers, speech/OT/PT therapists, psychologist, doctors, etc.) When everyone is on the same page, it sets the stage for your child to be successful. Our highly trained ABA team focuses on teaching your child the appropriate skills they need to replace challenging behaviors that are interfering with their learning, making friends, having appropriate interactions with siblings, following directions, and overall quality of life. Examples of skills targeted include: social skills, communicating wants and needs, school- readiness, daily living skills, coping with frustration and managing emotions, play skills, routine and transition changes, waiting, following directions in the community, toileting, job-readiness, parent training, and many more individualized skills. 🌿 Learning happens everywhere — especially in the community! 🦋

At ABBA, we love taking learning beyond the therapy room and into real-world environments.

Community outings give our learners the opportunity to practice important life skills in fun and meaningful ways.
During outings, we may work on skills such as:


✨ Following directions in the community
✨ Tolerating “no” appropriately (like when we can’t buy something at the gift shop)
✨ Answering questions and practicing conversation (today we used to animals and the plants as a visual tool to prompt conversations) 🐍🐛🌺
✨ Using public restrooms
✨ Making requests for items to activities (such as “I want a snack”) 
✨ Transitioning between different locations and activities

This community outing was at a local Tampa butterfly garden and plant nursery 🦋🌸 — we love supporting other local businesses in our community!

We had an incredible turnout for our monthly Student Analyst Training tonight! Our student analysts dove into the important upcoming changes in BACB supervision, curriculum requirements, and professional development expectations. We also discussed the key steps for conducting effective observations and assessments to set them up for success in the field.

At ABBA, we are proud ACE Providers and committed to delivering high-quality, ethical supervision and CEU/PDU trainings to every member of our team - including our growing group of dedicated student analysts.
