$50.00 deposit will be collected during Eventbrite registration. The deposit will be refunded to attendees on the first day of the Workshop. Registered individuals who do not attend the Workshop or cancel in advance will not receive a refund.

The Su***de Prevention Training Institute has partnered with Gulfcoast North Area Health Education Center to offer CEUs for ASIST participation at no cost to the participant.

SPTI Bingo Fundraiser

Thank you to everyone who came out to support our Bingo Fundraiser! Your energy, enthusiasm, and generosity made the event an incredible success. From the friendly competition to the joyful shouts of “Bingo!”, the night was filled with community spirit and memorable moments.

We’re truly grateful for every participant, volunteer, donor, and sponsor who helped make this event possible. Your contributions directly support our mission and help us continue providing meaningful programs and opportunities to our community throughout the year.

Special thanks to Sandy, Judy, and Southern Eaze for having us, to the American Legion for sponsoring us, and to the Silent Auction donors and bidders. Events like this remind us how strong and supportive our community is.

Congratulations to the Latest ASIST Participants!

The Su***de Prevention Training Institute hosted a Community Applied Su***de Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) Workshop for the Greater Tampa Bay Community. Ten new Community Partners are now equipped with the tools and confidence to have that difficult conversation with someone with thoughts of su***de.

The attendees’ commitment to fostering empathy, understanding effective intervention strategies, promoting help-seeking behaviors, and providing support to those in need is truly exemplary, resulting in 10 more individuals trained and dedicated to making a difference in someone’s life.

The Su***de Prevention Training Institute has reached a strategic milestone, offering 12 workshops in one year, with this most recent workshop marking the culmination of this achievement. The Institute has trained 350 participants since its inception.

At the conclusion of the workshop, the Institute acknowledged its Board of Directors’ President, Mary Ann Yaney, for her unwavering commitment and support to the organization for the last 6 years. Mary Ann is the Board President every non-profit could ever wish for, and we are beyond thrilled that she supports SPTI!
