As an embodiment coach, I often remind people, you can’t be embodied if you’re not connected to your body.
We live in a very disconnected and dissociated society, so more people are disconnected from their bodies than they probably even realize.
Ways to know you’re disconnected from your body:
❗You push past pain or discomfort just to get through the day
❗You use things to numb or distract yourself from how you feel
❗It’s hard to feel pleasure or passion
❗You struggle to identify what you actually feel or need
❗You feel easily distracted and find it hard to be fully present
❗You’re always “on,” but still feel exhausted and unfulfilled
The first step is letting your nervous system know it’s safe to feel again…
Because that’s where we access passion, pleasure, clarity, and courage.
This is the work, and this is how you come back home to yourself.
