This patient came to us bothered by the hump on her nose and her droopy tip. Here she is one week our from a rhinoplasty and she is ecstatic and so are we.
hump is gone and burising and swelling are minimal!

Deep plane facelift + neck lift before and after
Notice the natural results and the sharper neckline. Also notice the improvement in neck skin quality extending all the way down toward the clavicle.

With my preservation deep plane approach, the skin remains more attached while I release and lift the deeper layer. When that deeper layer is repositioned, the skin and fat follow more naturally, and you can often see a smoother, healthier look through the lower neck as an added benefit. This is helpful for a problem that can be difficult to treat with non surgical options alone.

Platysmal bands aren’t fixed by “cinching the middle.”
Up near the hyoid, bringing the platysma together helpts to treat the bands but lower down it naturally diverges.

• Recruit more tissue and make the neck look heavier
• Limit the side pull the side pull gives the best jawline + neck contour

Weight loss leaves laxity and descent in the neck and face. By performing a deep plane facelift and necklift we restored structure, sharpened the jawline, and cleaned up the neck while keeping her looking like herself.

Pixie ear explained and how I fix it

Pixie ear happens when too much tension is placed on the skin after a facelift, pulling the earlobe downward and tethering it.

I prevent this by lifting in the deep plane so the deeper layer carries the tension and the skin follows with minimal tension. I correct it by releasing the lobule and transferring the tension to the deep plane.

Why I combine a facelift with a neck lift
Two simple reasons:

The platysma is continuous from face to neck—treating both together restores the whole contour (cheek → jawline → neck) in one balanced lift.

We can lift higher and remove redundancy, which improves longevity and sharpens the cervicomental angle.

Incisions curve around the ear (and a small one under the chin when needed), with tension placed on the deeper layer—not the skin—for natural results.
