Before and after upper eyelid blepharoplasty to brighten up the eyes! This surgery removes redundant extra skin of the upper lid that folds over and covers the eyelashes and blocks the vision. The incision is hidden within the upper eyelid crease and fades over time to become nearly invisible. As this patient noted, this small surgery can make a big difference!

Laser resurfacing is a great way to rejuvenate the skin. This is before and after full face fractional CO2 laser resurfacing and shows an improvement in wrinkles, pigment, texture, and tone. Her skin is overall much more radiant and vibrant and she is very happy with her results!

It’s National Panda Day!

Sadly my job does not involve pandas, but it does include PANDO, which is an acronym for Primary Acquired Nasolacrimal Duct Obstruction. This is when the tear drain from the eye to the nose gets blocked. Most commonly this causes tearing but it can sometimes lead to infection, as seen in the top of the second picture. A surgery called a DCR (dacryocystorhinostomy) can fix both the tearing and the infection, shown in the bottom of the second picture.

Just 3 weeks after upper eyelid surgery. She is looking great and will continue to improve as the swelling goes down! You can really see how the upper eyelids are shadowing her eyes and how much lighter they look after surgery!

This patient had subtle bags under her eyes that she didn’t like. After an in-office lower lid blepharoplasty they are gone! She’s happy that her lower lid is smooth and she looks less tired.
