I'm not an AI expert, but this blew my mind...

A new study analyzed 5,537,981 pitches and discovered that Vision Transformers (ViT) (a type of deep learning model I break down in the full article) can detect subtle mechanical flaws invisible to the naked eye.

Here's what potentially makes this a game-changer: a 100-day warning window that aligns perfectly with non-operative rehab protocols. For the first time, teams could have enough lead time to actually intervene before surgery becomes inevitable.

🌟 Starting a Mastermind Group on Tommy John Injury Rehabilitation! 🌟

I’m excited to announce that I’ll be forming a Mastermind Group focused on Tommy John injury rehabilitation. This group will be limited to 10 students with only 2 cohorts per year.

It's open to DPT, AT, and Chiropractic students, as well as early-career clinicians looking to deepen their understanding of the evidence surrounding these injuries and effective rehabilitation strategies in professional sports. There’s still so much to learn!

Estudios han revelado una cronología fascinante: aproximadamente de 6 a 12 meses después de la reconstrucción, las fibras de colágeno recuperan su organización, reflejando la apariencia del LCA íntegro bajo el microscopio. Esta restauración representa un avance significativo y una mejora en la integridad estructural.

Si bien ciertos aspectos de la estructura del colágeno, como los pliegues y la alineación paralela durante la fase de proliferación, se restauran parcialmente, es importante reconocer que la composición diversa de las fibras de colágeno con diámetros variables, presente en el LCA íntegro, NO se replica por completo.

Pero aquí viene lo emocionante: durante la fase de ligamentización, la articulación de la rodilla reconstruida experimenta una transformación notable.
