We had a silly, spooky time last night at our joint Story Time & Sensory Night event! 👻

A night filled with our favorite things - learning through play, making a mess, and eating a sweet treat! 🎃🍫

After reading Room on the Broom, Jaimie and Skylar from Team Avec talked through spatial concepts and comprehension questions related to the book.

What a great introduction to our new community in Dade City 🫶🏻 Thanks to and for inviting us - and stay tuned for our next collab!

Introducing Meghan, our SLPA! 👋🏻

Meghan comes to us from Kentucky, where she is completing her master’s degree at Western Kentucky University.

She found a passion for speech-language pathology by working in both childcare and hospital settings. While she’s still growing as a clinician, she is very interested in feeding, particularly with preemies in the NICU.

Mealtimes can be challenging for many families. But when a child consistently struggles to eat or drink in ways that are expected for their age, it may be more than “picky eating.”

A pediatric feeding disorder (PFD) affects a child’s ability to take in enough food or drink safely, comfortably, and with the variety they need for healthy growth. It can be connected to medical, nutritional, skill, or emotional challenges — and it’s more common than you might think.
