I have to share that one special highlight of today’s
Girl Scouts of West Central Florida event was when they brought a young hero on stage!
This young lady knew exactly how to stay calm when her dad was having a stroke, almost 2 years ago.

The story was presented to me as a possible story, and I ran with it! At last count, probably six stories aired & the interest was quick and fierce as I pitched it.

The girl and the family were remarkable.
It was a story important to share. I enjoyed getting to know them.

And today the story… I set up ..was played for all the event attendees to see. (400-500 strong).
It was with one of the terrific reporters I work with.

Today’s lovely Women of Distinction event always reminds me of lifting others and encouraging others to be the BEST form of themselves.

Lifting others helps us ALL win and …..,together we shine.

CEO Mary Pat King created a wonderful program of connection & collaboration & recognition . So enriching!
