Saplings ABA is owned and operated by Stacey Lehman, a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA) with 6 years of experience in the field. Stacey completed both a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Healthcare as well as a Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis at the University of South Florida. Stacey spent time working under the supervision of BCBAs, first as a registered behavior technician (RBT) and then later as a board certified assistant behavior analyst (BCaBA) before becoming certified as a BCBA herself in 2018. Areas of expertise include special populations such as children ages 3-7 and diagnoses including ASD, ADHD, and ODD, treatment of mild to severe maladaptive behaviors, and skill instruction in a variety of domains including but not limited to toilet training, hygiene/self-care and other multi-step routines, communication and language, social skills, and safety skills.
Stacey started Saplings ABA in hopes of filling the need for ethical and effective treatment that also makes sense for clients and their families. Without the red tape of insurance companies, treatment can truly be tailor-fit to a client’s individual needs. Additionally, the small practice size affords clients the standard of warmth and ethical consistency that Stacey holds herself to personally. Above all, Stacey’s biggest goal is to show others the same love that Jesus showed us through His actions and teachings and through His dying on the cross to pay for our sins. Outside of work, Stacey enjoys spending time with her husband Wesley and their three dogs, Liberty, Waylon, and Rya. The newlyweds love traveling, creating music and art, being outdoors, trying new foods, spending time with family, and playing board games. Stacey and Wes are also passionately involved at Radiant Church (Heights) where Stacey helps lead worship.
