This is one of the most common mistakes we see in Swan on the Chair.

When the head tosses back, the neck compresses and the extension gets dumped into the cervical spine instead of lengthening through the whole back.

Instead:
✔️ Keep the neck long
✔️ Let the chest open forward and up
✔️ Reach the crown of the head forward as the spine extends

That small change helps the back lengthen and strengthen safely, instead of creating tension in the neck.

💜At first glance this might look simple, but this is Teaser on the Cadillac using the push-through bar, and it’s a serious core challenge.

The springs add resistance while helping guide the movement as the core stays engaged and the spine lengthens and articulates with control.

💜Head, neck, and shoulders lift isn’t about yanking yourself up with tension.

In the first clip:
❌ Chin jutting forward
❌ Neck straining
❌ Shoulders creeping up

In the second clip:
✔️ Chin slightly tucked (like you’re holding a peach under it 🍑)
✔️ Ribs drawing down
✔️ Shoulders soft and away from the ears
✔️ Core doing the work — not your neck
