In the face of some very challenging times, I wanted to share that January is offering a few really meaningful chances to be in community centered on Jewish LGBTQ+ care and support across generations. The first image includes the dates and times for my ongoing parent support group, with our next gathering happening this Monday. This space is for parents of LGBTQ+ children who want support, steadiness, and room to breathe while navigating parenting, identity, and the world we’re raising our kids in. It’s a tough time to be parents, and you do not need to do this alone 🧡
On January 14, I’ll be joining Tracey Labgold from Keshet for Spectrum of Belonging, an interactive program that explores LGBTQ+ inclusion through a Jewish lens and helps participants think concretely about how to build communities where more people can truly belong. This is a free, hybrid event, and I’d love to see you there.
On January 26, I’ll be part of a panel at Beth Torah Benny Rok Campus asking a question that feels especially urgent right now: Why is LGBTQ+ inclusion a Jewish value? Alongside Rabbi Rojzman and Tracey Labgold, we’ll be in conversation about text, tradition, and lived experience. This program is offered both in person and on Zoom.
On January 28, I’ll be holding space for grandparents of trans and nonbinary grandchildren in a dedicated support group. This group is for grandparents who are learning, loving, asking hard questions, and wanting to show up with care and confidence for the kids—and families—they cherish.
If you’re a parent, grandparent, community member, professional, or ally looking for spaces that are thoughtful, values-aligned, and deeply human, I hope one (or more) of these gatherings feels like a fit. Details and registration are in the images.
