After more than two decades, the FDA has removed the black box warning on all estrogen products — acknowledging that the fears from the 2002 Women’s Health Initiative were misinterpreted and misleading.

FDA Commissioner Dr. Marty Makary called the decades of fear around hormone therapy “an American tragedy,” stating that no studies show estrogen increases breast cancer risk — and that HRT can actually reduce heart attacks and improve women’s health on a population level.

Last summer we met Nicola — the olive master himself — whose award-winning oils captured our hearts (and our taste buds!). 🫒✨

This fall, he invited us back to join his family for the olive harvest and a true Italian barbecue among the trees. A once-in-a-lifetime experience and such a gracious host. 🇮🇹💚

Though we practiced our Italian and he his English, we rarely understood each other — yet somehow, we completely did. Laughter, gestures, good food, and shared passion built a day of unforgettable memories.
