The "New Year" is not about a new body, it's about a new outlook.

Fitness should be smart.

Wellness should be intentional.

Nutrition should be doable (and not HAVE to require pre-packaged meals - nothing wrong with those but they are an option, that's all).

In other words, you can incorporate intelligent, non-injury prone exercise, overall inward to outward wellness and doable, at-home nutrition with the contents of your own fridge & pantry... yes, you can.

Yes, YOU can.

Just be sure you are doing it for the overall you,
the inward you,
the you that wants more than just a slimmer waistline,
but rather a better life.

Been fairly quietโ€ฆ and thatโ€™s because I decided to embark on the 75 Day Hard Challenge. I needed that mental discipline pushโ€ฆ 52 days in and I am loving it!

Still here and still moving forward!

Always remember that when you finally start making tangible changes you WILL be met with resistance. Don't think "might" or "maybe"... you WILL.

So, keep moving forward... move straight into that storm and keep on going.

I'm just going to say it because it needs to be said: If you are going to motivate people to take action and "get it done", don't drag your feet in rewarding them once they've done it. The "get it done" works both ways.

Keep going strong with your newfound habit(s) folks... it seems easy to let it go, but it won't be worth it. Walk, jog, run, bounce... buy a pogo stick if you have to - just be sure to do something. :)

Day 32
So, what other benefits have come from the fitness challenge I opted into?

For the first time in years (decades, actually) I slept entirely through the night. Insomnia and constant waking have been a part of my life since I worked as a firefighter/paramedic many, many years ago. As this challenge progressed, I was able to sleep for four hour blocks without waking (that was awesome!) and then a couple days ago I slept entirely through the night for the first time in forever! I've since done so another night. I'm totally stoked!

Health benefits should be the primary reason for any fitness program because those results are powerful. Consider this as you embark and/or continue on your fitness journey.
