A message from our President and CEO,

As this year comes to a close, I want to recognize the people who make Mission Health what it is.

Across our communities and support teams, our staff show up every day with professionalism, compassion, and a strong sense of responsibility to the residents and families we serve. That’s how our CARES values come to life: Character, Attitude, Respect, Excellence, and Service.

This year, in particular, brought both change and challenge. What has stood out to me, especially in recent weeks, is how our teams have stayed focused on caring for residents, supporting one another, and doing the right thing, even during periods of transition.

As we head into the new year, I’m truly grateful for everyone who has been part of the Mission Health journey — our employees, owners, and trusted vendor partners — and I’m confident in the strength of our organization moving forward. I hope everyone has the chance to enjoy time with family and friends and start the year rested and ready.

We’re excited to announce a new partnership that supports healthier movement and pain-free living! 🎉

Starting January 1, 2026, Mission Health is partnering with Sword Health to offer Sword Thrive, a digital physical therapy app that helps treat joint, back, and muscle pain—right from home.

Eligible Mission Health employees, spouses, and dependents (13+) enrolled in a Mission Health medical plan can access this benefit at no extra cost. Just download the app, enroll, and get personalized care on your schedule. 💙💚

Meet Walter “Wally” Nemitz — a true fighter.

After a severe diabetic emergency led to major complications, Wally spent weeks in the ICU and hospital battling fluctuating blood sugars, fluid around his lungs, swallowing challenges, and critical illness delirium.

On October 30th, he arrived at North Ridge Health and Rehab's TCU, where the nursing team jumped into action with intensive monitoring, collaboration with providers, pulmonary care, mobility support, and compassionate reassurance every step of the way.

Wally began to regain his strength — even getting outside again for the first time in over a month. 💙💚

On November 10th, he proudly discharged home to continue healing with his wife.

Mission Health and North Ridge Health and Rehab are honored to be part of his recovery journey.

Jada’s leadership, commitment to resident-centered care, and dedication to our CARES Values have shined since her start as an AIT at North Ridge and most recently as Administrator at Dickson Health and Rehab.

In October, our administrators gathered in Las Vegas during the Delivering Solutions: AHCA/NCAL Convention with President and CEO, Stuart Lindeman, for a special recognition dinner—an evening filled with gratitude, inspiration, and celebration of the exceptional care our teams provide every day.
