Last week, AdventHealth volunteers joined us to pack hygiene supplies for individuals and families in need.

These hygiene packs will go directly into the hands of our neighbors who need them most at our upcoming fair.

This is what community partnership looks like: showing up, serving with heart, and meeting people with dignity.

Grateful for Joy Viars APRN, Dr Dietrick and every volunteer who continues to pour into this mission. 💙

Last night, we had the honor of attending an incredible Holiday Food & Toy Giveaway hosted by Hillsborough County Commissioner Gwen Myers

What stood out most wasn’t just the scale of the event serving hundreds of families, children, and unhoused neighbors but the intentionality behind it.

Commissioner Myers’ unwavering commitment to meeting people where they are, especially during the holidays, is a powerful reminder of what community centered leadership truly looks like.

Thank you, Commissioner Myers, for setting the example and reminding us what service in action looks like.

Last night, the Pioneer Team had the opportunity to connect with Tampa HOPE residents for our yearly Friendsgiving! Alongside several volunteers and community partners we shared an amazing evening full of warmth and laughter.

We are so grateful for WellBuilt who provided 5 bikes 🚲 for our giveaway and Patches BBQ for the delicious meals we served.

Moments like this remind us of the power of community — one we’re glad to pour into every single day.🫂

Supporting Jamaica in the Wake of Disaster 🇯🇲🤍

In response to the recent devastation in Jamaica, Pioneer Medical Group, Pioneer Medical Foundation, in partnership with Dr. Milton Brown, has taken action to support impacted communities with compassion and urgency.

We have prepared and donated 10 relief barrels filled with essential supplies including medical items, food, shelter materials, and power equipment now ready to ship from Tampa to those in need. These barrels represent hope, dignity, and a reminder that Jamaica is not facing this alone.

As recovery continues, we invite our community to stand with us. A full list of needed items will be shared for those who wish to contribute.

Together, we uplift. Together, we heal. Together, we serve. 🇯🇲❤️

Orthopedic Clinic

This past Saturday, November 8th, our Foundation Team joined Dr Brian Palumbo
and Dr. Waugh DPT to offer free orthopedic care and physical therapy to our community.

As our last clinic of the year, we’re now gearing up for Operation Walk USA days of restoring mobility. All this is made possible through our partnerships with local partners.

Recently, Ali Khan joined me to discuss Social Determinants of Health an area that continues to shape the future of healthcare delivery and population health outcomes.

For too long, clinical excellence has been viewed in isolation. Today, we know better. Access to transportation, housing stability, food security, education, and social support are not “extras”; they are core drivers of health and longevity.

At Pioneer Medical Foundation, we are aligning community partnerships, data-driven strategies, and compassionate care models to address these determinants at the ground level. Our work is proving that when we invest in the whole person, we transform both lives and systems.

This isn’t just a mission it’s a movement toward equitable, sustainable healthcare for all.
