Our recent Health Fair brought the community together in many meaningful ways, including one very special connection.

In partnership with Animal Luvrs Dream Rescue, adoptable dogs joined us at the event to meet attendees and volunteers. It was there that Dana McCarron who was volunteering at the fair, met Frankie, a 10-year-old rescue who had faced a difficult start to life.

Just 10 weeks ago, Frankie could barely stand and was severely emaciated. Today, he’s healthy, happy, and settling into his new forever home with Dana.
Moments like this remind us that when community partners come together, the impact can reach far beyond the event itself. We are grateful to Animal Luvrs Dream Rescue for partnering with us and helping make stories like Frankie’s possible.

Sometimes the biggest impact of a health fair isn’t just healthcare, it’s hope. 🐶💙

Operation Walk USA is more than a surgery it is often a year long, and sometimes two year journey.

Because of the dedication of all the volunteers and community members these patients who once lived with severe pain are now walking again.

We are deeply grateful to AdventHealth West Florida hospitals and healthcare partners who open their doors and make these life changing surgeries possible for uninsured patients.

To every volunteer who gave their time, skill, and compassion thank you for making this mission possible. We look forward to continuing this work together next year.

On February 27th and 28th marked the culmination of a year long journey with 17 of our patients, each one seen multiple times in our free clinic by Dr. Brian Palumbo.

Because of extraordinary collaboration, these uninsured patients received life changing joint replacement surgeries at no cost. What began as clinic visits became renewed mobility, restored independence, and hope for the future.

This would not have been possible without the dedication of our community partners: AdventHealth Carrollwood and AdventHealth graciously opened their doors, with staff, nurses, physical therapy etc volunteering their time and resources to create a supportive environment.

Florida Orthopaedic Institute ensured seamless coordination of care. Surgeons Steven Lyons, Dr. Smith, and Dr. Christopher Grayson performed these transformative procedures with compassion.

Enovis, Zimmer Biomet, Stryker donated the implants that will provide strength and mobility for years to come.

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice, Medical Services of America and Rachel Waugh PT, DPT (physical therapy) are now walking alongside our patients in recovery, equipping them with the tools to remain active and healthy.

All of this was made possible under the umbrella of Operation Walk USA , a reminder of what can happen when mission driven organizations unite for a common purpose.

Dr. Brian Palumbo, partnering with you over the past several years to provide 70 patients with free joint replacements has been an honor. Your perseverance and steadfast commitment continue to inspire us daily.

To our Pioneer Medical Group providers who have faithfully served for the fifth year we have done these surgeries thank you, Pioneer Health and ketul chauhan your unwavering support and willingness to help fuels this mission.

The Pioneer Medical Foundation Team is deeply grateful for the intentionality, generosity, and dedication of every individual involved.

While we may not be able to name everyone, please know your impact is immeasurable. Joe Johnson, Erik Wangsness, Charity Carlisle, Dawn Hicks-Waldron, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, Dr. S. Irfan Ali, MD., Christine Egan Palumbo, MEd, Victoria Sellers, Kalli Creitz, MBA-HA, Erica Franklin.

We look forward to continuing to grow these partnerships as we empower our neighbors to improve their health and quality of life.

To our community, friends, colleagues, partners, and neighbors who placed their trust in us, THANK YOU. 💙

Because of you, we were able to serve, connect, and Bridge the Gap for nearly 500 members of our community at our 6th Annual Health Fair.

We witnessed passion in action and community at its best. Moments like these remind us why we do this work and reinforce the power of coming together in service.

We hope this experience left you feeling as inspired and connected as we did. We invite you to continue this journey with us as we serve our community, together.
