Staying active is preventive care 💙
For older adults, regular movement supports heart health, strength, balance, and independence. Staying active can help seniors reduce the risk of falls and make everyday activities easier and safer.
Every week, adults 65 older need (CDC):
✅ 150 minutes of moderate activity
✅ At least 2 days of strength training
✅ Balance activities
At IMA, we support healthy aging with a physical activity program designed for seniors through our Wellness Centers. From Zumba and dance classes to chair yoga and balance and stability exercises, we help older adults stay moving in ways that support strength, mobility, coordination, and overall well-being.
