Feeling like small tensions are quietly growing? Try this quick weekend self-check for couples: 1) What did I avoid saying this week? — Share one thing and listen. 2) When did I feel disconnected? — Name the moment and your need. 3) What triggered a strong reaction? — Notice the pattern, not the blame. 4) What do I wish my partner understood about me? — Offer one concrete example. 5) What’s one small step we can take together this week? — Agree on a tiny experiment. Use these answers as conversation starters or jot them down before talking. These prompts map directly to goals I support in therapy: improving communication, reducing reactivity, uncovering patterns, and building practical connection skills. I offer flexible sessions (in-person and telehealth) for Tampa, Tampa Bay and surrounding areas to help you turn those insights into lasting change. Ready to try this together? Are your anxiety symptoms tied to relationship patterns or family dynamics? I can help you figure out when relational/systemic therapy offers something different from individual CBT. Relational therapy looks at how partners, family roles, and communication keep anxiety going, while CBT focuses on thoughts and behaviors you experience alone. Together they can be powerful: I often combine approaches when your relationships shape symptoms. I see clients in-person in Tampa and offer virtual sessions across Florida and South Carolina. Do you ever feel stuck in the same argument loop with your partner? I help Tampa couples spot repeating patterns—like the pursue-withdraw cycle—and trace them back to shared and individual histories. Picture this: Scene 1 — After a long day, one partner asks for closeness; the other pulls away, which makes the first press harder. Scene 2 — Later, the withdrawing partner feels overwhelmed and distances further, leaving both feeling unheard. In systemic therapy we map those moments, discover where the pattern began, and practice new ways to respond. The result? Fewer fights, clearer needs, and deeper understanding. If you’re in Tampa or Tampa Bay and ready to shift how you relate, I’m here to help. Learn more: https://wix.to/Gk2rgLY

Feeling tense before a tough conversation? I use a relational approach that links present-moment skills to healthier reactions with partners. Try this short sequence: 1) Breathwork: inhale for 4, exhale for 6 to calm your nervous system. 2) Grounding: name 5 things you can see, 4 you can touch to bring you back to now. 3) Brief reframe: ask, “What might my partner need right now?” instead of assuming intent. Practicing these together shifts how you respond in the moment and strengthens connection. I offer in-person sessions in Tampa and virtual support across Florida and South Carolina. Ready to try? Feeling overwhelmed in Tampa? I’ve got three quick, evidence-informed tools you can use anywhere — with a partner or solo — to calm your nervous system and stay connected. Try them now. 🌿

1) Grounding (5–10 seconds): “Tell me five things you can see, four you can touch.” Use this script with a friend to anchor back to the here and now.

2) Paced breathing (60 seconds): Breathe in for 4, out for 6. Count quietly together. Say, “Breathe with me.” This slows your heart rate and clears the fog. 🧘‍♀️

3) Name the feeling (15 seconds): “I notice I’m feeling frustrated right now.” Sharing that line with your partner softens reactivity and invites support.

These are rooted in relational therapy — small shifts you can practice during busy Tampa days or in Tampa Bay. If you want tailored strategies, I offer personalized therapy in Florida and virtual sessions too.

Do you or your partner feel like small worries are starting to ripple through your relationship? I often see early signs of anxiety show up as sleep disruption, irritability, or withdrawal — and those small waves can become larger if left unspoken. When a pattern starts to affect communication, closeness, or everyday routines, it’s a good time to get relational support.

I work with individuals and couples in Tampa and virtually, using a relational framework that brings symptom relief and helps you reconnect with your partner. Early intervention can ease distress and restore partnership balance.
