Seventeen years ago, Adelaide and Genevieve entered the world under extraordinary circumstances. After an extremely high-risk pregnancy, fetal surgery and months of bed rest, their mom, Elizabeth, delivered two brave little girls at St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital.
What followed was a journey of resilience. Adelaide spent two weeks in the NICU and Genevieve, born with a heart defect, spent the first six weeks of her life in the cardiac ICU, each supported by the incredible care teams at St. Joseph’s.
Fast forward to today: these twins celebrated their unique start in life by designing custom shoes for the LPGA golf tournament, The Annika driven by Gainbridge at Pelican. Genevieve’s design was worn by golf legend Annika Sörenstam’s husband, Mike, and Adelaide’s design was worn by Annika’s daughter, Ava.👟⛳
💙 Their art tells a story of hope, strength and gratitude. From tiny fighters to talented designers, Adelaide and Genevieve are proof that miracles happen—and that creativity can bloom from even the toughest beginnings.
