⚠️ Oyster Recall Alert ⚠️
The FDA is advising restaurants, retailers, and consumers NOT to serve, sell, or eat certain raw oysters due to possible norovirus contamination. These oysters were harvested in British Columbia, Canada, and distributed to multiple U.S. states — including Florida.
🚨 What You Need to Know:
• Affected oysters come from Stellar Bay Shellfish Ltd. and include the Kusshi, Chrome Point, Stellar Bay, and Stellar Bay Gold brands.
• Harvest dates: December 22, 2025 – February 4, 2026.
• Products were shipped to restaurants and retailers in several states, including Florida.
• If you have these oysters, do not eat them. Discard them or return them to the place of purchase.
• Norovirus spreads easily and can cause significant illness, especially in young children, older adults, and people with weakened immune systems.
🩺 Symptoms of norovirus may include:
• Diarrhea
• Vomiting
• Nausea
• Stomach pain
• Fever or headache Symptoms typically begin 12–48 hours after exposure.
