Shout to Xilma Lemois, PharmD who manages the Bulls Country Pharmacy located in Student Health & Wellness Center

The USFTCOP () is excited to announce this month’s preceptor shout-out. This month we would like to recognize Xilma Lemois, PharmD, BCGP Pharmacy Manager at USF Bulls Country Pharmacy. Dr. Lemois precepts students for our IPPE and APPE Community rotations. “Dr. Lemois has truly been one of the most personable and caring preceptors I have ever had and deeply cares for her students. She goes above and beyond to cater to us and takes the time to teach us the ins and outs of running an independent community pharmacy. She was an inspiration to me on so many levels being a woman of a minority group and still rising above and pushing through adversity to get to where she is now.” “My APPE rotation at Bulls Country Pharmacy was a rewarding experience. The exposure to a unique population of pharmacy practice, coupled with the guidance of an experienced preceptor, provided a solid foundation for my future career. Even though I didn't plan on doing retail pharmacy after school, this rotation opened my eyes to working at an independent retail pharmacy very similar to this one if I had the opportunity after graduation.” Thank you, Dr. Lemois, for your contributions to the college and for being a role model for our students!
