We’re proud to celebrate the opening of the new Women's Care in South Tampa, a valuable partner in supporting women’s and family health in our community. Located only two (2) miles from the PHCA South Manhattan Avenue office and four (4) miles from the PHCA Azeele (South Tampa) office.

🍁 Fall Allergies Are in the Air! 🤧

October is here and so are fall allergens like ragweed, mold, and dust. They can cause sneezing, itchy eyes, and runny noses in children.

Here are a few ways to help your child feel their best this season:

🍂 Keep windows closed during high pollen days
🧺 Wash hands and face after playing outside
🧹 Change clothes and bedding regularly to reduce allergens
💧 Use a humidifier to ease congestion

Reminder from your pediatrician: Regular well child visits are essential to your child’s health. These routine appointments help your pediatrician:

• Track growth, development, and milestones
• Complete physical exams including heart, eyes, ears, and more
• Keep immunizations on schedule
• Offer guidance on nutrition, sleep, activity, and screen time
• Perform screenings such as vision, hearing, lead, and blood pressure

Well visits focus on prevention and overall wellness. If your child is sick, a separate sick visit should be scheduled and may be billed separately. Staying consistent with checkups helps catch concerns early and supports a strong relationship with your pediatrician.
