We have state of the art equipment and a caring and compassionate outlook on patient care. We always strive to build a successful practice with happy patients! This practice specializes in routine eye examinations, diabetic eye examinations, pediatric exams starting at age 4, ocular emergencies (red eyes, sudden vision loss, foreign body removals) and most visual needs. If care cannot be performed, diagnosis and proper referral will be made. Dr. McAleer obtained her undergraduate degree from N.C. State University in 2003 with a major in Zoology. In 2007, she graduated from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA with her doctorate and completed an additional year of residency which focused on diseases of the eye from Bay Pines Veterans Hospital in 2008. She is a long term supporter and member of the American Optometric Association, Florida Optometric Association and Hillsborough Society of Optometrists. Her work experience includes multiple VA Hospitals, Joslin Diabetic Center, community health centers, MacDill Air Force base and corporate optometric locations.

Ok guys, this page will be shutting down soon. For all the years of wonderful patients that I’ve seen at Target Optical and beyond, thank you for the laughs, the smiles and the tears talking about life. I’ll be over at Moderneyes Advanced Eyecare where I have finally put my roots down. This is my own baby with full scope optometry and optical. I’d love to see you there!
