Today is a day most people enjoy with their family or some with their friends. I hope we are all surrounded by the people we love and the people that brings us peace.

Today take a moment to practice gratitude, not only at the dinner table, but to truly look into all the blessings and little moments that we are can be grateful for.

I am grateful today not only for my family but for everyone that has entrust me with their care and their life in one way or another. For the families that trust I have their best interest at heart, thank you! I see you and hope to always do the best by you.

We are all suffering right now. Recent events have been heart breaking. I want you to know:

💜 It is ok and normal to feel you need to grieve something you were, technically, not a part of. But in reality we are still a part of it.

♥️ It is ok and normal to feel angry. Don’t get rid of it but turn it into action. Do an act of kindness for someone, read about how you could be of help, volunteer somewhere, or just be there for someone else.

🧡 Take care of yourself and your children but do not forget.

💚 And please if you see something suspicious report it. No matter how small it may seem.

💛 If you see someone that needs help and you are able to help them get it in any way do so. Sometimes if could be giving them the number of a hotline, or a referral, or making a phone call for them. If you are in a position of helping others, please do.

And remember ypu are not alone in this. If you find yourself struggling to cope give us a call 813-706-4609.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers and Bonus Moms out there. Specially to my mom who is always there when needed and ready to assist (and improve) all the projects I come up with.

And extra love today for all of those who struggle in any of these areas. I see you and feel your pain also. Life is not always as we plan it and that is a difficult truth to swallow. If you need someone to talk to am here for you. 💜

⭐️ Talking about sexuality does not make, and will never make anyone gay.

Not talking about sexuality and being gay however can make kids hide more, feel hurt, and misunderstood.

It CAN make kids feel depressed and anxious and like they are WRONG for being who they are. 🌈

If you feel anxious about this topic and the idea of schools talking about sexuality and gender identity let’s take a monent and consider why. Maybe talk to family and friends. Maybe consider you may not be informed enough about the topic. Maybe what you actually need is to talk/read/learn more about it instead of expecting others to know/learn less.
