🌟 Therapist Spotlight: Ms. Lory, RBT 🌟

Ms. Lory has been part of the Lama Pediatric Therapy team since January 2026, and she brings such a warm, supportive energy to every session 💙

Her specialty is building connections through pairing and helping clients develop social skills, creating a strong foundation for learning and growth. She loves using natural, everyday moments to teach new skills, making therapy both meaningful and fun.

I took a full week off… and everything still ran smoothly 🤍

That didn’t always feel possible.

Over time, I’ve learned that building a business isn’t about doing everything yourself, it’s about building the right team and trusting them.

This group right here is the reason I was able to step away, recharge, and come back better.

Grateful for people who care about our families, our kids, and each other the way they do.

Friday Wins 🧡

A few things we celebrated this week at Lama Pediatric Therapy:

✔ A child verbally said “more” for the first time
✔ A student sounded out sight words and read them independently
✔ A learner independently said “all done” to end an activity
✔ A child greeted a familiar face with “hi” on their own
✔ A student independently requested their calm-down strategy
✔ A child advocated for themselves by saying “no thank you”

Progress in pediatric therapy doesn’t always look huge but these small wins add up to life-changing growth.

I started Lama Pediatric Therapy because I wanted families to have better access to care.

Too often families are driving all over town... speech in one place, OT somewhere else, ABA somewhere else. And they are trying to coordinate everything on their own.

My vision was to create a place where all three disciplines could work together under one roof, collaborating to support the whole child.

Access to care also means accepting insurance and advocating for families. We work hard to take insurance across all three disciplines and often spend time fighting to make sure children can actually receive the services they need. Therapy shouldn’t only be available to families who can afford to pay privately.

But just as important to me was creating a place where therapists feel valued. A place where their voices are heard, their ideas matter, and collaboration is part of the culture.

Because when therapists feel supported and respected, they can do their best work and that ultimately benefits the children and families we serve.

Seeing our team grow and watching the progress our kids make every day reminds me why building this clinic was so important.

And we’re just getting started.

This month, we are proud to celebrate two incredible team members at Lama Pediatric Therapy!

✨ Avery — 2 Years
✨ Cyndi — 4 Years

Since joining our team as RBTs, both Avery and Cyndi have taken major steps in their professional growth by pursuing graduate school to become BCBAs. We are especially excited to share that Cyndi has officially completed her program with a perfect 4.0, and Avery is on track to finish this May!

Their dedication to learning, growth, and high-quality care for our clients is something we deeply value. Watching their professional journeys unfold has been such a joy.
