Something that has been deepening in my work over the last few years is a total shift in how I view “happiness.” 🧠
It’s easy to think that if we just stay positive enough, the difficult stuff will stop showing up. But I’ve realized it’s rarely the pain itself that breaks us—it’s the exhausting struggle against it.
The quote above sums it up perfectly. When we try to avoid the reality that life involves pain, we actually create more suffering for ourselves.
Lately, I’ve been leaning into the power of simply allowing our feelings to be there. We don’t have to like the difficult emotions, but when we stop fighting them, we stop wasting our energy.
That energy is finally freed up for what actually matters: processing those feelings and moving toward the life you want to live. 🕊️
Having “bad” feelings doesn’t mean you’re failing; it means you’re human.
Are you currently in a “tug-of-war” with your emotions, or are you ready to drop the rope? 👇
