I remember being in that phase where I was doing everything “right”

The deep breathing
The meditations
The mental health walks
The red light therapy
The vibration plate

And still…
I felt like my world was on fire half the time
Like my body was rebelling against me
Like I had zero control over my mental state 😵‍💫

And that’s the part no one talks about.

Because nervous system regulation isn’t just about what you do in the moment…

It’s about what’s going on underneath
👉🏻 For a lot of the women I work with (and honestly, myself included), it’s never just one thing.

It’s a combination of:
1️⃣ Not fully understanding your emotional patterns, triggers, and the thought loops that keep you stuck in that anxious state

2️⃣ Internal imbalances that no one has actually taken the time to connect
(gut health, hormones, blood sugar, inflammation… the things that directly impact your brain and nervous system)

Because if even one of those is off…
You can do all the breathwork in the world
& still feel like you’re barely keeping your head above water

3️⃣ And not having the right support or guidance to actually connect the dots and know what your body needs next

Not just more tools…
but a clear why behind what you’re feeling 👏🏻
and a plan to actually move forward 👏🏻

If your body has been feeling… all over the place lately, this might explain why 👇🏻

Bloating after meals?
Random urgency or constipation?
Skin acting up?
Low energy no matter how much you sleep?
…and none of it seems connected

Most women assume these are all separate issues

But what I see every day is this:
👉🏻They’re usually not separate at all
👉🏻They’re different ways your body is trying to tell you the same thing

There wasn’t a leak.
No wet spot in the ceiling.
No flood in the basement.

So it couldn’t possibly be that… right? 😬

But no matter what I did, my symptoms kept coming back.
I ran gut protocol after gut protocol.

And every time I stopped the supplements… the symptoms came flooding back.

At the time, I knew mold could be a possibility… but I doubted it could actually be happening to me.

Now, after going through it myself and helping many women navigate the same thing, I see how often mold is the hidden driver behind symptoms that keep coming back.

It doesn’t just affect one system.

It can impact:
- your gut
- your hormones
- your nervous system
- your immune system
- your energy and mental health

And the confusing part?
Mold exposure doesn’t always look the way people expect.

There may be:
👉🏻 no visible mold
👉🏻 no musty smell
👉🏻 no obvious respiratory symptoms

Some people show symptoms quickly.
Others don’t react at all.

Which is exactly why it took me so long to connect the dots.

It was confusing.
It was scary.

But learning what was actually happening in my body was also incredibly empowering.

Because when it comes to mold, knowledge is power 💡

Since getting my family out of that environment and resolving my own symptoms, I’ve now helped dozens of women uncover mold as the missing piece behind theirs & find a clear path to healing ❤️‍🩹

Happy National Registered Dietitian Day ❤️‍🔥

Becoming a dietitian wasn’t just a career choice for me, it was personal.

I started in the health and fitness world because I was fascinated by how food and exercise could change the body and impact sports performance.

I started personal training and teaching fitness classes > 10 years ago.

And as I got into my nutrition degree I knew that someday I'd start a private practice (very full circle moment as I reflect on this 🥲)

I started coaching nutrition online in 2018.

& the deeper I got into it, the more I realized something didn’t add up...

So many women were doing everything “right”
eating clean
working out
taking supplements
…and still weren't seeing progress + low key felt terrible.

👉🏻Digestive issues.
👉🏻Hormone symptoms.
👉🏻Fatigue.
👉🏻Confusion around food.

And most of the advice they were getting was surface level.

So I kept digging 🔍

I learned how to read labs, to order testing, & understand what was really going on in their bodies.

That curiosity (& my own slew of symptoms) is what eventually led me into functional nutrition and root cause work.

Now I get to help women connect the dots between their symptoms, their gut, their hormones, and their lifestyle, so they can actually feel good in their bodies again!!

And yes… it does involve asking a lot of questions about p**p 💩 😂

But I wouldn’t trade this work for anything.
