If you have joint pain, here’s more reason to lay off the candy: Eating lots of sweets has been shown to worsen joint pain because of the inflammation they cause in the body. Plus, studies show that people who eat or drink a lot of sugar may be more likely to develop rheumatoid arthritis.

One in ten Americans gets a quarter or more of their daily calories from added sugar. https://wb.md/40IHwsA

March is Self-Harm Awareness Month 🧡

Behind smiles, jokes, and “I’m fine”…
millions of people are silently fighting battles no one can see.

Self-harm is more common than people realize — and the stigma keeps many suffering in silence.

This month we’re talking about it.
We’re spreading awareness.
And we’re reminding people they are not alone.

If even one person in your life is struggling, this conversation matters.

Share this post. You might help someone feel seen today.

If you’re feeling exhausted and sluggish, and even simple tasks feel overwhelming, you may be experiencing burnout.

Though burnout is often associated with job stress, it can also stem from — and affect — many areas of your life, as well as take a toll on your health. Burnout is often driven by long periods of stress without time to recover — but practicing self-care and creating work/life boundaries can help.

Federal SNAP rule changes may affect some immigrants who have legal status in the U.S.

To help during this change, New Mexico created a temporary, state-funded food assistance program for families who may lose SNAP benefits.

Eligible families may receive a one-time payment to help replace lost SNAP benefits. If approved, the payment will be added to your EBT card.

⚠️ Important: Complete your SNAP renewal on time. Renewing helps us determine if you qualify for SNAP or for the one-time payment.

Please note: People who apply for SNAP on or after Jan. 1, 2026 and do not meet federal eligibility rules will not qualify for the state-funded benefit.
