ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital extends heartfelt gratitude to Piggly Wiggly Central Business Office and the dedicated employees at the stores in Ahoskie, Farmville, Nashville, Pinetops, Rocky Mount and Wilson.

Each store helped raise breast cancer awareness by selling ribbons and bracelets. Thanks to your generosity, the funds collected will provide comfort items for patients undergoing treatment, free mammograms for those in need, educational materials, medications for patients and more.

We are to stand together to support the health and well-being of eastern North Carolina. Thank you for your commitment and compassion.

Identical twins Richard Gregory, physician assistant, and Kenneth Gregory, nurse practitioner, recently completed doctoral degrees while serving here at ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital. The Gregory brothers supported each other through their programs and bring a shared commitment to clinical innovation and improving patient care to their work.

“We held each other accountable, often staying up late to discuss coursework, research and strategies for balancing academics with full-time clinical responsibilities," Richard said. "There was an unspoken understanding: if one of us advanced, the other would not be far behind.”
