Your support means the world to patients and care teams. We’re especially touched by the creativity and compassion of your employees, who organized a bake sale and created gift baskets to raise funds.

The donation will help ensure that patients fighting cancer can obtain the help they need—whether it’s paying a bill or purchasing much-needed medications or supplies. Every dollar makes a difference.

After receiving a life-saving heart transplant in 2024, Brenda Jones took her first steps toward recovery right here at ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital. She enrolled in our Cardiovascular Pulmonary Rehabilitation program, determined to rebuild her strength and embrace her new lease on life.

Over 36 visits, Brenda showed incredible dedication—improving her endurance, adapting to life with her new heart, and graduating from the program in March. “This program has been a vital part of my recovery journey. The team is excellent, and their support has been invaluable,” Brenda shared.

Today, she’s enjoying time with loved ones and living each day with gratitude. Her story is a powerful reminder of the resilience of the human spirit and the impact of compassionate care.
