This quote really drives home for me, especially this very time of year as I reflect back one year ago to when I was strongly considering homeschooling. Reading the book Hold Onto Your Kids by Gabor Mate, pretty much pushed me over the edge into making the decision to homeschool after my kids both asked to, but I wasn’t quite sure… it really dug deep on understanding the importance of this topic, how family and parent influence versus peer influence over our kids has such an ENORMOUS impact on them, their behavior, their decisions, their habits, their success in life.

Would love to hear your thoughts on this topic! I know we have a lot of homeschool parents here 🙌🏼

Lord does this need to be shouted from the mountain tops!

Jesus is KING. Meanwhile, politicians (right and left) try to be.

Politics and the media divide and distract and polarize and tear us apart, while trying to push their own agenda, that very rarely, if ever, truly lines up with the heart of God.

Just remember that the next time you’re deciding whether to argue with and make assumptions about a stranger on the Internet or not.

Your calling is supposed to feel way bigger than you because it is in that place where God desires us to FULLY rely on Him to fulfill it.

If we can accomplish our destiny without God it’s probably not the fullness of what He’s calling us into.

Our future will require great depths of trust and obedience in Him.

We NEED the Lord to fulfill what He calls us to do! Amen!?

The impact of food…

If only more people truly realized the incredible impact of the food that we fuel our bodies with, that it’s not just keeping us alive, but it impacts the state of our MIND, our mental health and well being, our attitude, our nervous systems, our behavior, our energy, our internal light, each and every day, depending on what we choose, what we decide to consume, what groceries we buy to keep in our homes to nourish ourselves vs the ones we intentionally leave behind… these are huge decisions will either chip away at or build up our families.
