Say what you will—
it never gets old

when they call it,
sneaking in

the wee small hours
or by dawn,

white rabbits—
everywhere.

All of us, bowing
to the same stunned audience

of trees,
of power lines,

same god,
all beholden to crystals

that know nothing
of the future—
only now.

Whenever writes something new-or tells a new story —I can’t wait to check it out.

Guy always brings a special combination of wit, wisdom, and warmth, and somehow, the most difficult things become so much easier to bear. Like how does he do that??!!

I just ordered his latest book, and am sending many special congratulations his way today!!!

I wish I could be joining tonight to say congratulations in person Guy, but I’m sure we’ll somehow find each other soon to trade stories in a presidential suite, and look at each other and say, ‘how did we get here?’
