West Valley Counseling Center in Tarzana, California offers psychotherapy services to individual adults, children, couples and families struggling with a variety of issues. WVCC aims to improve our clients' sense of well-being and assist them with meeting their goals. Our therapists utilize traditional talk therapy as well as play therapy and art therapy. Our therapists certified and trained to deal with a variety of topics, including psychological and emotional pain, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, emotional or physical abuse, career confusion, suicidal thoughts, post traumatic stress disorder, abandonment, self-esteem, trust, sex, substance abuse, intimacy, addiction, alcoholism, eating disorders, and many more. In addition to psychotherapy, WVCC also offers a number of educational sessions. We have therapists who specialize in teaching meditation and offering hypnosis as supplements to psychotherapy. Our therapists also offer workshops to the community and local schools focusing on issues of concern, such as parenting, bullying, stress management, family wellness, reducing anxiety, and others. We will match you with the right therapist on our staff, who will work with you to improve your health and resolve the issues that are causing pain in your life.
