Learning how to be present without getting lost in your mind; priceless.

Meditation is the practice of training your attention and awareness so you can relate to your thoughts, emotions, and experiences more clearly and calmly.

A few key points that help demystify it:

💙You’re not trying to stop thoughts
Thoughts will happen. Meditation is about noticing them without chasing or fighting them.

💙It’s a skill, not a belief
You don’t have to be spiritual, calm, or “good at it.” It works the same way learning a physical skill does.

💙The core action is attention
You gently focus on something (breath, body sensations, a sound, or even thoughts themselves) and keep returning when the mind wanders.

💙Awareness is the goal, not relaxation
Relaxation often happens, but the real benefit is clarity—seeing what’s going on inside you without judgment.

Think of meditation like sitting with your mind instead of being dragged by it.
