Quick self-check: does your pain travel… or does it stay put?
If discomfort is mostly one sore spot (like a tight shoulder or a tender low back), it often behaves more like a muscle strain—achy, stiff, and localized.
But if symptoms move down your arm, into your hand ✋, down your leg 🦵, or into your foot 👣—that “traveling” pattern can sometimes point to nerve irritation. People often describe it as:
1. Tingling or numbness
2. Burning or electric pain
3. Weakness or a “dead” feeling
4. Worse with sitting, bending, or turning
If a nerve is irritated, it can mean something is compressing or inflaming the nerve—often in the neck or low back—so the signal gets “noisy” on its way to your arm/leg 📡. The solution usually starts with figuring out what’s causing the irritation, then using conservative care to reduce pressure, calm inflammation, and improve mobility so the nerve can function normally again ✅
