🎄 Hospice Door Tour Update & Thank You! 🎄

We wanted to share a fun update from our Hospice Door Tour and recognize everyone who helped make it such a success!

✨ Winner:
Jamison Presnell, Executive Director, won the Door Tour Contest with her adorable gingerbread house door. Jamison would like to give a heartfelt thank you to her daughters, Averie and Ruby Grace Presnell, along with their friends Zoe Johnson and Peyton Oxentine, for helping pull it all together.

🥈 Runner-Up:
The Charlie Brown Christmas door by Deidra Skinner, Marketing/Public Relations, which captured so much nostalgic holiday charm.

🌟 Honorable Mention:
The National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation door by Tina Mitchell, Volunteer Services and Transitions Coordinator, for bringing classic holiday humor to life.

🎁 Door Prize Winner:
Congratulations to Sheriff Chad Pennell, who won the door prize!

We had over 60 people come through to judge the doors, and every single door was amazing. The creativity, teamwork, and effort that went into each one truly showed. Thank you to our staff and community for making this event such a joyful and memorable part of the season—we loved every bit of it! ❤️🎅✨

🎄 Christmas Luncheon Celebration 🎄

Yesterday, we gathered with our amazing hospice staff and board members at Brushy Mountain Restaurant for a special Christmas luncheon filled with gratitude, laughter, and holiday cheer.

We are incredibly thankful for these hearts that serve so faithfully throughout the year. The compassion, dedication, and love from each of these souls makes a difference in every life we touch. ❤️

May this season remind us of the joy of giving, the power of kindness, and the strength of our shared mission.

Alexander Hospice-celebrating 40 years- is excited to introduce a brand-new holiday tradition — our “Christmas Door Tour”! Our amazing staff has put their creativity to work decorating their office doors, and now we need YOU to be the judge!

Join us on December 19th from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM at our Alexander Hospice Office, located at 50 Lucy Echerd Lane in Taylorsville. We are located behind the Edward Jones Building. Stop in to enjoy a festive self-guided door tour, a complimentary goodie bag, light refreshments, and a chance to win a special door prize!

Come celebrate the season with us and help spread a little extra holiday cheer. We can’t wait to see you!

Thank you Alexander County for your support! Our 5th annual Port-a-Pit Chicken Fundraiser was a wonderful success. We sold 1,860 plates which includes over 1,000 deliveries.
We are so appreciative of everyone who makes this event possible! Thank you to The Dairy Bar and several local volunteers for the donation of coleslaw. It was delicious! And thank you to East Taylorsville Baptist Church for the use of your gymnasium to prepare and ship out our many deliveries.
We’ll plan it again next year!…..the Thursday before Labor Day!
