𝑁𝑜𝑡 𝑜𝑛𝑒 𝑜𝑟𝑛𝑎𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝑙𝑒𝑓𝑡 𝑜𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑡𝑟𝑒𝑒? Well, for us, that's a good thing.

Every holiday season, our Angel Giving Tree returns to bring joy to underprivileged families through Bridge of Hope BuxMont. Those paper angels seemed to fly off the tree on their own this year! At this very moment, the staff & residents who claimed them are procuring new, unwrapped gifts from the ideas listed on their respective ornament to form a collective donation next week. Tis' the season of giving!

It's time for a to this time last week when Tails of Valor/Paws of Honor (TOV) returned to campus to host a PUPPY PARTY! This non-profit partner is where recently-enacted Community Canine & therapy dog Durkin got her start. 🐩 Ahead of Veterans Day, TOV Reps shared its meaningful Mission as well as fun facts about our four-legged visitors before getting up close and personal with residents during meet-and-greets.

TODAY at 4pm: Royal Unzicker, a resident of LCT, unveils his brand new art exhibit followed by refreshments in the Auditorium! 🎨 If you are able to join us, feel free to visit our campus for this lively event. You can come through the Main Entrance/Healthcare Pavilion and the front desk receptionist can help direct you to our Center for Community Life.

⚠️🦌 Stunning as this buck may be, remember that November through January is peak deer season. We encourage all our friends to remain diligent while driving, especially at dawn or dusk and on roads in wooded/rural areas or near fields. If you see one deer... assume there are 2 to 4 more nearby and don’t swerve or honk your horn — use your high beams instead. Stay safe out there and enjoy these final weeks of fall!

Every Friday afternoon, Telford residents enjoy a "Creative Corner" art class. Last week's hit selection was Caramel Apple Pops – we can't tell whether these very crafty ladies were more proud or excited to take this sweet treat home!

This week, Lutheran Community at Telford is celebrating milestone anniversaries of its dedicated employees, who have collectively given 450 years of service to both our residents and our mission!

A complementary buffet lunch complements of Village Caterers was served to all staff today, followed by an awards ceremony presenting Certificates of Recognition and a special gift to those with milestones, pictured here, including three of our most tenured staff posing with their team:

1st Sm. Group: Kelly Godfrey & Bonnie Price (center), 35+ years, Skilled Nursing (along with Resident Care Coordinators Helen Downey and Jamie Cliver)

2nd Group: Bernice Krout, 40 years, Culinary Services (along with Andrew Loeffler, Kristin Kabbatt, Britney Kramer, Kim Jacobs and Chef Chris Goggins)
