Every holiday season, our Angel Giving Tree returns to bring joy to underprivileged families through Bridge of Hope BuxMont. Those paper angels seemed to fly off the tree on their own this year! At this very moment, the staff & residents who claimed them are procuring new, unwrapped gifts from the ideas listed on their respective ornament to form a collective donation next week. Tis' the season of giving!

Perkasie Florist Owner Cathy Weierbach presented a fabulous class at The Community at Rockhill this afternoon on a Fall Centerpiece, alongside helpful tips for DIY floral arrangements. We just love partnering with small businesses in our greater community. 🍂🌹 Cathy was kind enough to donate the final product, and one lucky resident was randomly selected to take it home! We are so proud of the Grace Inspired Living family for contributing to Operation Christmas Child over the past month. International relief organization Samaritan's Purse holds this annual collection of supplies to fill holiday gift boxes for children around the globe, and our communities certainly do their part! The project "wrapped up" on Monday at The Community at Rockhill where volunteer residents & staff packed all the items into a total of 25—that's TWENTY-FIVE—shoeboxes between our sister campuses. A job well done!

Lutheran Community at Telford showed up and showed out today for its resident Veterans — from our annual breakfast buffet with door prizes to a brand new "Wall of Honor" with personalized slideshow, made possible by a grant from Landis Supermarket. Our community sincerely thanks our Veterans for their insurmountable sacrifice in shielding our nation from harm. We hope they felt that same dedication and commitment in our efforts to uplifting them today and every day! 🇺🇸

Special s/o to Souderton American Legion Post 234 and Caring Hospice Services for donating our door prizes and handheld flags, respectively, as well as local Cub Scout Pack 199 for the thoughtful thank-you cards (pictured) included at each place setting. 🙏🏼

Love and appreciation for our resident Veterans are overflowing this week at Rockhill — from the annual breakfast buffet with door prizes and a Lifelong Learning program about the history of our U.S. Marine Corps on its 250th birthday (yesterday) to a brand new "Wall of Honor" with personalized slideshow and the display of keepsakes in our main entrance lobby. Our community sincerely thanks our Veterans for their insurmountable sacrifice in shielding our nation from harm. We hope they felt that same dedication and commitment in our efforts to uplifting them today and every day! 🇺🇸

Following up to our post on Friday, we are proud to share photos from the Art Gallery Opening & Reception featuring resident artist Royal Unzicker. He paints in watercolor, has been associated with the Perkiomen Valley Art Center and won awards for his work from the Doylestown Art League. Congratulations to Royal on a successful opening!

Rockhill residents Glen & Mary Miller have been facilitating Witting Tree Ceremonies all around Bucks and Montgomery Counties for the past 12 years, acknowledging the astronomically high rate of su***de in the U.S. military—now the primary cause of death among active duty soldiers—by placing dog tags on a tree, sharing in a dedication and final prayer. They brought this meaningful event to campus last year and held the most recent one on Wednesday, just ahead of Veterans Day next week. We thank them for their commitment to raising awareness about this somber but important epidemic.

⚠️🦌 Stunning as this buck may be, remember that November through January is peak deer season. We encourage all our friends to remain diligent while driving, especially at dawn or dusk and on roads in wooded/rural areas or near fields. If you see one deer... assume there are 2 to 4 more nearby and don’t swerve or honk your horn — use your high beams instead. Stay safe out there and enjoy these final weeks of fall!

The MPR was 𝑠𝑝𝑎𝑟𝑘𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑔 today during a resident-led fundraiser selling jewelry, accessories and home goods to benefit our Creative Arts Center! The lobby was bustling with the foot traffic of residents, staff, friends and family eager to shop these great bargains for an ever greater cause. We can't wait to hear how much they raised!

Last week's Thursday AM fitness class featured a PUMP-kin Sit & Fit workout with mini pumpkins dressed up as hand weights for Halloween. We could be wrong, but we feel something in these photos just doesn't belong... what do you think? 🤔🦖
