Opening in October of 1999, the history of the funeral home goes back further than one might expect. Lowell Bergey, owned and operated Bergey Funeral Home of Harleysville since 1987. At the same time, Robert L. Williams, Jr., owned the Moyer-Williams Funeral Home in Souderton since 1985, where Kyle D. Koffel served as supervisor. While both funeral homes were used by the community for many years,
with the rapid growth of the area, it soon became apparent that it would make sense to combine the firms together to construct a brand new facility. Unlike many funeral homes, this new facility was constructed to be totally handicapped accessible, with abundant parking and seating capacities that are not an issue.
