Hi All!

I've been receiving some calls and questions about what acupuncturists are doing to protect our client's health during this time:) In my office, I'm working hard to keep up to date on all recommended safety standards for the current pandemic response. Here are some of the additional measures I've taken to address the situation..

1. All clients are covid-19 screened before treatment
2. All clients are recommended to text or call before entry to avoid sitting in the waiting room, and to avoid client overlap where possible
3. Hand washing or hand sanitizing is available and required upon entry
4. Everyone wears a mask in the office
5. Temperature checks take place at the door for everyone who enters
6. All touchable surfaces are wiped down after each client including treatment tables and pillows, chairs, bolsters, light switches, door k***s, etc. with an EPA approved cleaner
7. The office upgraded to an Allergy/Asthma/Virus air filter on the air circulation system (AprilAire) to keep circulating air as clean as possible
8. All new clients complete an initial interview over a telehealth platform to reduce exposure during out conversation about your health history and current concerns.
9. Additional cleaning procedures above and beyond regularly expected maintenance are performed
10. Touchless check out via credit card is encouraged.

Feel free to call or text anytime if you have additional concerns or questions about covid safety or acupuncture safety, and we’d be happy to chat!

Dear Friends and Clients!

I've been able to begin taking appointments again! Things are a little different with scheduling and procedures to accommodate State and Local recommendations for opening a practice. CDC guidelines are also being followed. Please feel free to call or text anytime and we can discuss how to move forward during this time.

Thank you so much for your patience,

Suzanne

Latest Recommendation:)

My name is Vicki Cresswell and I would like to highly recommend Suzanne Landis Kaczor of Indian Valley Acupuncture.

After a year of a debilitating shoulder problem and no help from traditional medicine (x-ray, corticosteroid shot ( for diagnosis of tendonitis), and then more physical therapy, I decided to try acupuncture because a friend’s shoulder had been helped by Suzanne.

I had a few sessions and then I had an MRI (which I requested by my MD). Two consults with Orthpaedic specialists resulted in the same advice. I was beyond rotator cuff surgery and needed reverse shoulder replacement when I could no longer tolerate my condition. I opted to against surgery and continued with Suzanne.

I felt improvement in mobility and reduced pain with every session and we began to stretch the time between sessions. I was being treated by Suzanne for about six months when the Corona Virus impacted our lives and she had to temporarily suspend treatments.

If I ever doubted that I had acupuncture to thank for my improvement, time without it was proof of its benefits. My shoulder began deteriorating more each week. After two months I had reverted back to my previous condition. Thankfully, we have been able to resume my treatments and I can already feel progress. Besides enhanced mobility and reduction of pain, when I am receiving acupuncture, I seem to have renewed and a better outlook. I truly believe it opens my qi forces and helps to balance them.

I can’t thank Suzanne enough.

Dear Friends and Clients!
I have been looking for a way to support my current and future clients in this challenging space. So I've taken steps and would like to announce that I'm available for Telehealth sessions!!
If you haven't experienced an acupuncture treatment, you might ask what an acupuncturist can do over the phone/internet? Acupuncture is one part of a multifaceted approach to health, Traditional Chinese Medicine. In a Telehealth session, we will discuss your health concerns and health history, and through this information, determine a Chinese Medical Diagnosis. Depending upon that information, a practitioner of Chinese Medicine can provide nutritional counsel, mediation guidance, acupressure suggestions, and/or lifestyle tweaks that can help your physical or emotional situation.
If you're a new client interested in setting up an appointment, we can do that via Telehealth and give you your first treatment whenever we get to see each other again:)
If you are curious and you've hesitated to take advantage of acupuncture in the past for fear of needles, this is a way that you can introduce some of the other benefits of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
If you are a current client and you're looking for a way to benefit your health or ease your stress during this time, let's see how Traditional Chinese Medicine can help!
Feel free to PM me, e-mail me through my website at www.indianvalleyacupuncture.com, or use any of the contact information attached to this site with questions about possibilities and cost.
I look forward to uncovering some new possibilities with you!
