Yeshua🙏

That was what God whispered to me this morning as I was praying and thanking him for this incredible life.

It's a name I know of for Jesus through studies and sermons, but it's not a name that I use in my everyday vocabulary or prayers. So, after I heard that quiet whisper, I had to look it up💜

It means "He saves". That reminder in that moment overwhelmed me to tears as I reflected back on my life. He has been by my side through everything, fighting my battles and reminding me of who I am in Him🙏

As I celebrate 51 years of being so blessed in this life with all of its up and downs, the thing that I am most grateful for is my relationship with Jesus. He is the constant in my life. He is consistent and cares deeply about every tiny detail. I have the most peace I've ever had in my life I have the most grace I've ever had for myself and for others and I am beyond grateful for every single experience, good or bad, that has led me to where I am today💜

And if you know anything about me, you know that my happy place is warm and it's by the water, So that's exactly where I'm spending this warm day in February🌞

This🙌

Taking care of yourself isn't selfish, in fact, it's quite the opposite.

When I work out, eat right, and focus on my spiritual health, I show up in this world exactly the way God intended me to🙏

My 8-year-old granddaughter was surprised the other day the way I picked her up and carried her around, lol. I told her it's because Grandma works out 💪

And no, I'm not special nor do I have some magical thing inside me that makes this the "easy" choice. I have days that I struggle and days that I definitely don't follow the plan. But I just keep showing up 💜

When I was younger, I watched my grandparents health decline. I saw them being prescribed medication, in and out of the hospital and struggling with health issues. I didn't realize it on a conscious level back then, but as I got older I realized that I had made the decision to challenge the way that I age and to do my part to show up differently from a very young age. And just like all of us do, they were doing their best with the information that they had available at the time 💜

All this to say, it doesn't matter where you're at right now. Whether you've been neglecting your health for a while, or whether you have always been focused on a healthier lifestyle. Today is a new day. And I think Valentine's Day is the perfect time to show up for yourself and the ones that you love 🥰

Why Basic MLD Training Is Not Enough for Postop Clients

Post-op physiology is completely different from non-surgical MLD clients.

Energy-assisted liposuction changes tissue behaviour.

Surgery may alter lymph flow permanently.

Fibrosis risk is higher when therapists don’t understand tissue load.

General MLD courses don’t cover wound healing or surgical trauma.

Without correct training, therapists may over-treat or mis-treat clients.

Always keep 'em guessing 💃

But in case you were wondering, it's organic green tea with freshly squeezed lemon😁 The flu that's going around took me out last week, like "I felt like I was in a coma for 2 days" out🤯 God bless you if you're going through it or you've already made it out on the other side....it was a doozy!

And honestly, this is THE WORST part of what I do. When I'm down, I can't help others. More importantly, it's just not something I would want to share with you or anyone🙈

So what does the person that talks about healing, nutrition, the importance of physical activity, and spiritual health do during this time? Honestly, my husband took excellent care of me💜 I asked for organic bone broth, sourdough toast with kerrygold butter, and fresh pineapple (these were the only things that even sounded remotely tolerable that I knew would support my body). And God bless this man for cutting up a fresh pineapple, lol. I couldn't taste a thing but it still felt like I was eating sunshine!

And prayer, lots and lots of prayer🥰

Also, more tea (not wine😬), bio-active silver hydrosol by Sovereign Silver, Wellness Formula by Source Naturals, and lots of water with more lemon and a dash of Redmond Sea Salt (EXCELLENT source for electrolyte balance)!
