You know how LeBron could have prevented sciatica?? By incorporating more hip opening stretches that released undue stress on the sciatic nerve! But of course, I cannot for certain prescribe this unless I were working with him one on one 😬

Pigeon Pose (Eka Pada Rajakapotasana) is one of the more popular hip openers that helps relieve tightness in the hips and lower back.

This pose deeply stretches the muscles surrounding the hip joint, primarily targeting the external rotators (think piriformis and gluteal muscles) of the leg in front and the hip flexors (psoas) in of the back leg.

Rest is part of the practice. ✨

Yoga isn’t only about strength or flexibility — it’s also about listening to your body’s need for stillness. Allow yourself to pause, breathe, and reset. That’s yoga, too and the lesson I’m taking with me every single day.

I might not have all the answers to my problems solved in one day, but you bet I’m thinking of how and what I can improve. Giving myself grace in difficulties that arise is I have trouble with!
