Part 1 of 2: Do I need a breast lift or a breast implant? Here's some general information to help you understand the difference. If your ni**le sits toward the bottom half of your breast, this can be a sign of sagging. Many people think getting a bigger implant will fix this, but adding volume alone may not fully address ni**le position. While more volume can distract from the appearance of sagging, the ni**le may still sit low in a side profile.

“My goal is to be a source of open and honest information for my patients. I try to get to know each person as an individual, to really find out what they want. I like patients to be actively involved in their health care.”

When asked what drew her to plastic surgery, she replies, “Plastic surgery is the perfect combination of art and science. For me, it is extremely rewarding to help people look and feel their best.”

In her spare time, Dr. Kim enjoys reading, drawing, and cooking. She also loves to travel and has been to South Africa, Thailand, Korea, and much of Europe. Is a face lift right for me?

Have you ever looked at your face in the mirror, pushed back the extra skin with your fingers and thought, “There! If only my face looked like this again!”

Although there are many minimally invasive things that can be done to turn back the clock, oftentimes nothing works as well as surgery to give your face back that more youthful, vibrant appearance that you had in the past.

Is plastic surgery covered by insurance?

If the surgery is performed for cosmetic reasons, it is not covered by insurance. If surgery is done because it is medically necessary (for example, to correct deformities or functional impairment), it may be fully or partially covered by insurance.

Projection refers to the side profile or the distance that the implant projects from your body.

The amount of volume (cc) and the degree of projection you and your surgeon select will depend on your body type and the shape and fullness you want.

Every surgeon has their favorite procedures, and for me, it comes down to two, each for very different reasons.

Labiaplasty is deeply personal. It's a transformation that belongs entirely to the patient. They don't have to show it to anyone else. Nobody's comparing, but there's a real change that makes them feel and look better. It's just their own kind of transformation.

Tummy tucks hold a special place in my heart because I see how hard my patients have worked. They've had children, lost weight, put in the hours at the gym, and yet loose skin and muscle separation remain no matter what they do. Surgery gives them the finish line they've earned.
