This Wednesday! How does Mental Health Court work?

Join NAMI Temecula Valley for a free community event featuring speakers from Riverside University Health System.

You’ll hear from:

• Willard Wynn, Peer Services Program Manager for the Family Advocate Program – Forensics
• Maritza Camacho, Senior Family Advocate

Both work closely with families navigating the mental health and criminal justice systems and will share insights on how Mental Health Courts connect individuals with treatment and support.

This legislative session, NAMI California is proud to sponsor SB 1028 from Senator Archuleta which looks to create the Behavioral Health Crisis Response Advisory Group.

This group would work to examine the role of law enforcement in behavioral health crisis response and collaborate on recommendations to support coordination between behavioral health crisis services accessed through 988 and emergency response systems.
