It is often said, “Out of darkness came light.”
Yet how can light come from darkness, if darkness had no light within it?

The Great Light was first
It sang existence into being, and from that song came Sparks.......each radiant
each longing to understand its own beauty

One Spark
wishing to know itself as the Great Light knew itself, turned inward and created Darkness
The Spark wept, believing Darkness to be an error
But Darkness was not a mistake
Darkness was created with purpose.

Unable to see, Darkness believed itself to be alone
And in that solitude, it remembered the fragment of Spark from which it was formed.

From that fragment, Darkness created light of its own.
Thus balance was born...
not as opposition, but as understanding.
Not as absence, but as contrast.

So it is with you...
You carry this same Spark within you
an inner light.
It does not appear by force, nor by denial of darkness,
but illuminates when it is sought, remembered, and allowed to shine
