I want to offer deep gratitude to the Beehive Festival in Salt Lake City for the invitation, the care, and the space to gather in such a meaningful way. This weekend felt like a true remembering—of relationships, of purpose, and of the power of coming together in community.

It was a joy to deepen existing connections, to meet new souls along the way, and to spend time with family—both the family we walk with in this lifetime and the family that walks with us through lineage and memory. Being on this land carried a particular resonance, as I felt into my ancestors of this region, honoring the Ute people as the original stewards of this place.

I also felt the presence of the L*D lineages—threads of inquiry, healing, creativity, and consciousness that continue to inform how we explore inner worlds with responsibility, reverence, and care. These lineages remind us that the work we do today is never separate from those who came before us, nor from those who will carry it forward.

Weekends like this reaffirm for me that community is medicine, relationship is the work, and gathering with intention creates ripples far beyond what we can immediately see. I leave feeling grounded, inspired, and deeply thankful.

With love, respect, and gratitude. 🐝🌿

✨ Healing With Art: The Flow State
Healing with art is stepping into a space where the mind softens and the spirit begins to speak.

When you create, you enter a quiet current — the flow state — where time falls away and your awareness drops from the head into the heart.
In that space, something deeper guides your hands.
You’re not making something.
You are meeting something.
Your emotions, your memories, your intuition, and sometimes even your ancestors rise through color, shape, and movement.

Indigenous wisdom teaches that creativity is ceremony.
Every stroke, every line, every layer is an offering — a way of honoring what you’ve carried and releasing what no longer belongs.
Art becomes a bridge between the world you show and the world you feel.
A gentle way for your inner voice to speak when words can’t hold the truth.

The flow state is not an escape.
It’s a return.
A return to presence.
A return to honesty.
A return to the part of you that already knows how to heal.

Through art, you listen.
Through art, you remember.
Through art, you come home to yourself.

✨ What Does It Mean to Heal in Nature? — Indigenous Wisdom + Ceremony

To heal in nature is to step into a living ceremony.

Every stone, every plant, every breeze carries a teaching.

Our ancestors understood that healing doesn’t happen in isolation — it happens in relationship.
Relationship with the land, with the spirits of place, with the elements, and with your own heart.

When you walk on the earth with intention, the land becomes a guide.
She shows you where your energy is tangled, where your grief is hiding, and where your courage has been sleeping.
She reminds you that healing isn’t linear — it moves in cycles, spirals, seasons, and breath.

In Indigenous traditions, healing is not about “fixing.”
It is about restoring balance.

Balance within yourself, within your body, and within the web of life around you.
Nature reflects this truth with tenderness and honesty.

The mountains teach steadiness.
The waters teach movement.
The wind teaches release.
The fire teaches transformation.
The earth teaches remembrance.

To heal in nature is to return to right relationship —
with spirit, with community, with your ancestors, and with the Self you are becoming.

This is the medicine.

✨ Connecting with Spirit Through Stillness

In our modern world, we are constantly pulled in a thousand directions.
Notifications, screens, schedules, and noise leave little room for the subtle voice of our own spirit.

Sometimes, the most sacred act we can do is simply disconnect.
Turn off the electronics. Step away from the noise. Let the space around you — and inside you — become quiet.

In that stillness, the nervous system begins to down-regulate.
Your heart softens. Your breath deepens. Your thoughts slow.
The tension in your shoulders, your jaw, your chest begins to melt.

This is the space where spirit can be felt.
Where intuition can speak.
Where clarity emerges.
Where you remember that you are not your to-do list, your emails, or your obligations — you are a living, breathing, sacred presence.

Indigenous traditions honor this pause.

They remind us that connection with spirit is not something we chase.
It is something we return to.
Like walking into a quiet grove, sitting by a stream, or breathing with the wind — we create space, and the medicine is already there.

Even a few minutes of mindful disconnect can restore balance.
Even a single breath in quiet can reconnect you to your own wisdom.
Even stepping outside without your phone can remind you that you belong first to yourself, then to the world.

Make space for peace. Make space for quiet.

Make space for Spirit.
