Friendship Village just celebrated 46 incredible years, and what a party it was! 🎉🏡

Our theme, “No Place Like Home — A Celebration of All the Places Lived and Carried with Us to Friendship Village,” came to life in the best way. Residents enjoyed regional foods, food trucks, live entertainment, specialty cocktails, Starfire Brewery brews, and even Executive Director Cole Marvin’s perfectly smoked brisket.

Every flavor, every sound, every moment honored the roots we’ve brought with us and the community we’ve built together.

Cheers to 46 years of Friendship Village — where every story, every journey, and every home finds its place. 💛🌟

At Friendship Village, we work hard and we have fun. You don’t need hours at the gym—just 30 minutes a day adds up to big benefits! From Yoga to Tai Chi, Silver Sneakers to Water Aerobics, plus our 24/7 fitness center and beautiful walking paths… we’ve got something for everyone.

🌿 Happy National Gardening Day! 🌼
Did you know Friendship Village is home to the Friendship Evergreen Community Garden — a one‑acre gem tucked inside the beautiful 6.5‑acre Ernhardt Park right behind our community? This incredible space includes 67 garden plots, a shared communal garden, an orchard full of fruit trees and berry bushes, a memorial rose garden, a pollinator garden, a greenhouse, a worm farm, full composting station, and so many wonderful programs and events.

And we can’t forget our amazing Master Gardener, Cora Strange, who guides our gardeners with expert knowledge, safe growing practices, and a whole lot of heart. Cora helps make this garden flourish!

Today, we’re incredibly thankful for a happy, healthy, safe space where we can garden to our hearts’ content. 🌱💚

✨ Let’s take a moment to celebrate the talented residents of Friendship Village! ✨

Our amazing Village Quilters create some of the most beautiful quilts you’ll ever see. Not only are their creations stunning, but their hearts are just as extraordinary.

These talented residents partner with Banner Hospital to ensure every child who enters the facility receives a personal quilt—something warm and comforting during stressful times 🧵💖

They also support the Quilts of Valor Foundation, a national organization dedicated to wrapping U.S. military service members and Veterans who have served in combat zones in a quilt made with gratitude and love 🇺🇸❤️

Such incredible talent and even bigger hearts. We’re so proud of our Village Quilters! 🪡🌟
