I've spent most of my life being really good at worst-case scenarios - maybe some of you can relate!
Not in a doom and gloom way. In a functional way. When something big and scary showed up, I'd find the exit, make a plan, and just knowing the exit existed was enough to calm me down.
It worked. For decades, it worked.
Until now.
Lately I run the loop and hit a wall. The problem is too big, too far outside anything I can actually control. So my brain just... keeps going. Searching for the exit that isn't there.
Maybe you know this feeling.
In this week's newsletter I share what I've learned about why this happens - and what's actually helping me right now.
