My mission is to help others heal, release stress, and find peace, balance and happiness in their lives. Hi, my name is Melinda and I am very excited to have you here! I am a 7th Generation Usui Reiki III Practitioner also certified in Sound Healing. After several devastating losses of family member and friends in a very short time period, I started noticing things differently. Seeing signs, if you will. It started me on a journey to heal my heart, to heal my soul and also my body that was holding onto unresolved pain and grief. I have always been “sensitive” my whole life and had spent the bigger part of it trying to turn that part of myself off. Growing up and as a young adult, I felt that my “over-sensitivity” was a negative thing and I didn’t want to be that person. It took me well into my adult life to figure out that I was an “Empath”. That word was new to me and once I started reading about it, and fully identifying with it, things started to shift. I learned how to manage it and to ground myself and turn it into a super power. Things started to shift inside me very quickly between my newfound knowledge and understanding of my self and my journey to find healing. After experiencing a profound sound healing in Sedona, I started looking for energy healing and Reiki. I was blessed to find an amazing Reiki practitioner and teacher, Michelle. Things then began to change and align faster that I could ever imagine. I immediately knew that I had found my calling with Reiki and energy healing. With her guidance and training I was able to use Reiki to heal myself in ways I never thought possible. Wanting to take the knowledge and gifts that I have to help others find their way. To help them learn to heal old wounds, release stress, and to manifest peace and happiness within themselves. Reiki has truly changed my life in more ways than I can list. Opening a practice where I can use life force energy and sound healing to help others improve their lives is both a blessing and my destiny and I am very happy that you are here! Melinda Rae
