Providing Audio Access to Information to People, Who Cannot Read Print Because They Have a Disability

Sun Sounds of Arizona is a not-for-profit service that creatively applies technology and talent to make sure that every person with a print disability can access the current and local information they need to live a self-directed, productive life. Broadcast via the subcarrier waves of public radio stations and on the Internet, Sun Sounds boasts a team of volunteers who read aloud from local and national newspapers, magazines, and local ads and catalogs.
