Today’s takes us to your Austin VA Outpatient Clinic to meet Jorge Chumpitaz.

Originally from Peru, Jorge moved to the United States in 1999 and proudly became a U.S. citizen in 2005. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Fairfield University in Connecticut, he found his calling in caring for Veterans, a mission he has embraced for the past decade with .

Today, Jorge coordinates care for our Veterans with exceptional heart and skill. Whether he is monitoring blood pressure, supporting weight management, helping Veterans manage diabetes, or arranging scheduling and referrals, Jorge approaches every task with the same unwavering purpose: to ensure Veterans receive the care, respect, and positive outcomes they deserve.

Our are in caring hands with Jorge leading the way. His dedication, warmth, and commitment embody the very best of what it means to serve those who have served our nation.

U.S. Air Force Veteran Joseph David Martin will be laid to rest on Wednesday, December 3rd, at 11:00 a.m.
